Welcome to Precious Adornment!
My goal for this blog is to help Christian women desire and develop the kind of true and lasting beauty described in the verse above by exalting Jesus Christ as the Greatest Treasure in life. Our marriages, families, churches, and culture are all in desperate need of strong and godly women whose lives are dedicated to the glory of Jesus Christ alone.
A few personal details… My husband Joseph and I live in North Carolina with our two labradors, Khaki Chino and Chester Charles. We are currently in the process of adopting a little girl from Ethiopia. My favorite activities include baking, cake decorating, reading, and (pitiful but persistent) attempts at gardening. I have served for the past 6 years as a volunteer peer counselor at a local pregnancy care center and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in biblical counseling through the Master’s College in Santa Clarita, California.
As the Lord teaches me more about Himself, I hope He’ll use me to pass His truth on to others through the information shared on this blog. Please enjoy!
